| The Campaign for SPU
Progress Report
TOTAL GIVING TO The Campaign for ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ stood
at $45.7 million in gifts and pledges by the end of the second quarter of
2004. In the 12 months previous, donors gave a generous $8 million: $1.2
million to the Science Initiative, $5 million to the Endowment Initiative,
$1.3 million to The University Fund Initiative and $.5 million to other Campaign
efforts. The Campaign is the largest fund-raising drive in
University history, one designed to better position
Seattle Pacific as a change agent for good in the
community and the world. The remaining $7.2 million
needed to meet The Campaign goal of $52.85 million
will come from a variety of sources. As always, alumni,
Fellows and friends will provide the backbone of funding,
while remaining dollars must come from benefactors,
foundations and corporations who resonate with the
SPU vision.“ We thank God for the outpouring of support
from Seattle Pacific supporters,” says Vice President
for University Advancement Bob McIntosh. “We’re nearing
the close of The Campaign and ask everyone to keep
us in their prayers and giving plans as we enter the
homestretch.”              Back to the topBack to Campus

 From the President
