About the John Perkins Lectures
The annual John Perkins Lecture invites the SPU community to explore the implications of reconciliation through Christian community development.
The series first began in 2006 with John Perkins’ address, “Reconciling Leadership in the Wake of Tragedy.” He returned to campus each year to deliver the Perkins Lecture until 2019.
Since then, reconciliation advocates such as Brenda Salter McNeil and Jemar Tisby have delivered this important annual address.
