What is something you wish everyone knew about your major? Business administration is a general major but that’s what the best part is. Being able to explore a variety of business classes allowed me to experiment and discover what interests me. A general degree is the best kind of degree!
What was your most impactful class or professor? My most impactful class was entrepreneurship with Dr. Godek. That class gave me the opportunity to put everything I had learned over the past four years and put it all into one big business plan project. Dr. Godek was incredibly inspiring and motivating, and the experience of designing a plan from start to finish was both challenging and rewarding.
What advice do you have for incoming students? My advice for incoming students is to get involved early! Some of my favorite experiences at SPU were from getting more involved with the community and meeting new people. The only thing I wish I had done differently was getting more involved sooner!
How have you grown during your time at SPU? I have grown in so many ways during my time at SPU. Beyond academics, I’ve grown personally and discovered who I am and who I want to be. SPU gave me the community, support, and space to become the person I am today. I’m leaving with lifelong friends and memories I’ll always cherish.
