What was your most impactful class or professor? My most impactful professors have been Sarah McCord and John Lindberg. I have loved their passion for math and science, and they have sparked my curiosity about the world that God has so intricately created. They have inspired me to look more carefully at the world around us and think deeply about the way things work.
What are you excited for in your future career? I am excited to make an impact in the lives of my students, to have a chance to pass on all the wisdom that has been shared with me, and support students like I have been supported. SPU has helped me become capable, confident, knowledgeable, and prepared to make an impact in the world around me.
What advice do you have for incoming students? My advice is try as many things as you can, meet as many people as you can, work as hard as you can. Time flies at SPU, make the most of every moment you have, you never know how God is going to use your simple “yes.” I look back and am so grateful for all the things I have been able to learn, and the people I have been able to meet just by willing to step out of my comfort zone.
