Teams from 13 Christian colleges and universities met at SPU this spring to discuss what
they believe is a biblical mandate: ensuring access and success for minority students.
For Gary and Barbara Ames, racial and ethnic diversity is part of the richness of God's
world. They recently gave $1 million toward scholarships for students of color at SPU.
Before its stunning collapse, Enron was considered a model business. Dean Jeff Van Duzer
and Professor Kenman Wong propose a different definition of good business.
A new $2 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. will aid SPU students in drawing upon
their Christian faith when making career decisions.
"Dead Man Walking" and "The Apostle" were two of the offerings at the SPU Film Festival
